Yet another leaked picture of the LG G3 shows all three color versions

Publish date: 2022-02-14

Following a flurry of leaks last week, the G3 is once again in the spotlight. This time we’re looking at a spy shot showing the back of the black and white versions, and what appears to be the top of the golden version.

The pic was supplied to Phone Arena by an unverified source, so take it with the customary salt, even though it does seem to corroborate with images from other sources that leaked in the past days.

The black and white versions of the G3 sport the brushed metal finish we’ve seen in @evleaks’ pics last week, though it’s still hard to tell if we’re looking at genuine metal or a convincingly textured plastic. On the top, we get a look at the top of the golden version of the device, with its earpiece, thin bezel, and glossy finish on the side.

This shot pours water on speculation from last week concerning the potential inclusion of an antenna or even stylus on the LG G3. From this angle, the mystery feature appears to be a much more mundane IR blaster, though it’s hard to tell for sure.

The LG G3 is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch Quad HD LCD display (just like the Isai FL that LG launched in Japan last week), a Snapdragon 801 processor, and 3GB of RAM. If recent leaks are to be believed, the phone will feature a removable back plate and microSD card slot, though it’s not clear if the battery will be removable as well.

LG will introduce the G3 on May 27, and Android Authority will be on call to bring you complete coverage.
