Two Google Home Hubs (Nest Hubs) for $140 is a steal

Publish date: 2022-04-18

The Google Home Hub, recently renamed the Google Nest Hub, is on offer at Costco while supplies last (h/t Android Police). You can currently pick up two hubs for a total of $140 — a $60 saving — until May 12 with free shipping.

The Home Hub started at $149 when it was first released, before being reduced to $129. Right now, you’ll find it on sale at the Google Store for an impressive $99. Costco’s deal still represents better value.

I want the next-gen Nest Hub to have a camera

Opinions

Until the newly announced Google Nest Hub Max is released on July 15, this is probably the best smart display on the market.

Packing a 7-inch, 1,024 x 600 screen, the Hub integrates with Google Assistant to offer help around the home. It provides calendar reminders and traffic reports, integrates with music services to blast out your favorite tunes, and can even act as a recipe book to guide you through delicious dishes. The Home Hub will also interact with other Google smart home products you may have picked up over the years.

The Home Hub is lacking the front-facing camera of the newer model — so video calling isn’t possible — but it includes many of the same features, without the $299 price tag. If you want a deeper look at how the two devices stack up, read our Google Nest Hub Max vs Google Home Hub comparison
