While we draw our own conclusion, we also wanted to hear from readers if they believe the Galaxy S20 FE is still an attractive proposition. The poll results are now in.

This poll fell just short of 1,000 votes since it went live on December 4. That said, the response ratio would probably remain pretty consistent even if more readers weighed in.

The vast majority of respondents (85.3%) still believe the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is still worth buying. Just 14.7% of respondents believe that the phone’s no longer worth considering.

We feel both responses are valid. Per our long-term experiences, the Galaxy S20 FE offered excellent value at its $699 launch price, and even more so now that it’s cheaper. Its specs and performance still hold up a year later. Battery life is impressive, while One UI remains a definite highlight on Samsung phones in general.

Of course, there are drawbacks. The Exynos model lags behind its Snapdragon counterpart, the glasstic back isn’t as pleasing in hand as actual glass, while the phone’s camera performance can be hit and miss.

• Farhad Ahmad Tajuddin: With the S21 FE will be using Snapdragon 888 (which is prone to overheating) and no microSD card support, I’d still buy the S20 FE. This is just about the cheapest DeX-supported flagship Samsung smartphone money can buy.
• Sachouba: I really don’t have the same opinion as you about this phone. I own the 5G version with a Snapdragon 865. Performance is top-notch, battery life is truly excellent, One UI is great. Fast charging is quite respectable at 25W. It doesn’t charge the phone in 30 minutes, but combined with the great battery life, it enables you to get a few extra hours of battery life in a few minutes of charging, and is much faster than 15W charging.
• JN: Thanks to S20 FE I’m not a iDiot anymore. 120hz display and good performance for a decent price. Apple hate Brazil/Brazilians and that’s a fact that took me too long to realize. Samsung Global do the complete opposite, bring love, support sports events, athletes, work to adjust prices here in Brazil and so… xoxoxoxo Samsung you are the best! 🥇
