T-Mobile Galaxy S4 now available online
T-Mobile has faced delays of the Galaxy S4, pushing back its in-store release starting May 8. Online orders were supposed to happen April 25, but that date was pushed back as well. Starting today, you can now order the Galaxy S4 from T-Mobile’s website. Available in black or white with 16GB of storage, the phone will cost $149. Keep in mind that you will also have to pay $20 per month over 24 months under the new “no-contract” plans.
However, if you would prefer to buy the Galaxy S4 outright, it will run you $630. As expected, you will be able to access T-Mobile’s 4G LTE network, which recently expanded to seven major U.S. cities.
In case you missed it, here are the official specs:
- 4.99-inch Super AMOLED 1920 x 1080 display (441 ppi)
- 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor
- Adreno 320 GPU
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB internal storage with microSD card support up to 64GB
- 13-megapixel rear-facing camera
- 2-megapixel front-facing camera
- LTE, WiFi support up to 802.11 a/c, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0
- Android 4.2.2
- 2600 mAh battery
If you are planning on picking up the Galaxy S4, make sure to check out our full review. The U.S. version doesn’t feature the Exynos 5 Octa, but that still did not keep it from performing very well in benchmarks. While not as elegantly designed as the HTC One, the Galaxy S4 could be the right choice for you.
