Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom priced in the U.K., available for pre-order

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, the smartphone with one of the best cameras on the market (or the camera that includes a smartphone, whichever way you want to put it), now has a price tag attached to it, for the U.K., at least.

The device, which was officially announced only a few days ago, is now listed for pre-order by U.K. retailer Handtec, at a price of £467.99 (around $734), which includes VAT. Without VAT, the price of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom is £389.99 (around $612).

If you want to get yours, know that it’s already available for pre-order, but the launch date is not yet specified. However, the site says that the device is “due in soon,” so it shouldn’t take too long before you can take it with you on your vacation.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom can be a pretty good option for those customers that want a capable camera and a smartphone in one device, so that they don’t need to carry both around. It has a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 960 x 540 and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with Native Damage Resistance. It’s powered by a dual-core CPU at 1.5GHz and 1.5GB of RAM, has 8GB of internal memory, and microSD support so you have enough space to store your images.

The camera, which is probably the most important part, is a 16-megapixel one with 10x Optical Zoom, smart modes, optical image stabilization and a host of other useful photo features. The device also has a front-facing 1.9-megapixel shooter.
