Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear heading to Sprint on October 4th
What about Sprint and U.S. Cellular? Both carriers have been pretty quiet about their plans, though that changes today for Sprint. The Now Network has officially confirmed the Note 3 and Galaxy Gear will arrive on October 4th, though they’ve yet to reveal if and when the handset will go up for pre-order.
The Galaxy Note 3 will set customers back $349.99 with a two-year contract – Yes, that’s $50 more than AT&T and Verizon. Turning to the Gear, we get the same $299 outright price tag seen with other carriers.
If you are interested in getting the Note 3 on Sprint’s network but are looking to avoid the hefty on-contract price, it’s worth mentioning that the Note 3 will be one of the first devices to work with Sprint’s One Up early upgrade program. No word on how much they asking upfront, but it’s possible that their “introductory $0 down promo” might apply to this device as well.
