Samsung Galaxy M40 announced with triple cameras

Publish date: 2022-03-11

Earlier today, Samsung took the wraps off the latest entry to its millenial-focused Galaxy M series. The Samsung Galaxy M40 looks like the international version of the Galaxy A60, which was announced for China back in April.

The Galaxy M40 features a 6.3-inch Infinity-O punch hole display with Full HD+ (2,340 x 1,080) resolution. The hole makes room for a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. The rear fingerprint sensor is joined by a triple-camera system, which consists of a 32MP primary sensor, a 5MP portrait sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor.

The phone omits a headphone jack, though Samsung includes a free pair of USB-C earbuds. It also omits an earpiece, with Samsung instead using what it calls Screen Sound Technology to turn the screen into a speaker.
