Popular iOS multiplayer trivia game ‘QuizUp’ arrives to Android

Publish date: 2022-06-26

Back in November, Plain Vanilla Games launched QuizUp for iOS, bringing iUsers an absolutely massive multi-player trivia experience with over 200,000 questions in over 400 topics, ranging from TV shows to books, sports, music and more. The game has quickly become a major hit for the iPhone and iPad, and now it has finally made its way over to Android as well!

Keep in mind that in order to get online and start challenging other players, you’ll need to log in through email, Google+ or Facebook. From there, you select a category and it can either match you with a random person or you can challenge your friends directly. There’s also built-in messaging, leaderboards and plenty of other great features.

For those that like the challenge of “leveling up”, you’ll be happy to know that the more you play (and win), the higher your skill level will become. Your ranking will obviously effect what players you are randomly matched up with.

Bottom-line, if you like quiz or trivia type games, you’ll want to check this one out. Even better, this game is absolutely free with no advertising. There are in-app purchases, however, though only three of them: one that doubles, triples, or quadruples your XP boosters for a price of $2.50, $5.00, or $7.50 respectively.

These in-app purchases certainly aren’t required, though they are a good way to bring up your (perceived) skill level faster — which can be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it.

To grab the game, you’ll want to head on over to Google Play. Anyone try this one out yet, if so what do you think?
