OnePlus brings super-affordable OnePlus Nord Buds to the US

OnePlus unveiled its first-ever Nord-branded hearable, the OnePlus Nord Buds, earlier this year. Now they are here for the US and Canadian markets.

The Nord line of smartphones is OnePlus’ mid-range offering, providing solid design and performance at an affordable price. The company is taking that same approach with the Nord Buds, delivering a well-rounded audio experience in its most affordable option yet.

The Nord Buds feature 12.4mm titanium dynamic drivers paired with Dolby Atmos. The earbuds include four microphones to provide improved background noise filtering, as well as a mechanical design aimed at reducing wind noise.

In terms of battery life, the Nord Buds provide 30 hours of combined playback on a single charge, with the earbuds alone providing seven hours of use. Users on the go will appreciate Flash Charge, designed to provide up to five hours of audio playback from just 10 minutes of charging.

The earbuds are IP55 rated, as well as coated with a hydrophobic nano-coating to help protect against water and sweat.

The earbuds come in Slate Black and will be available in mid-June for $39 or CAD $49.
