Nexus 4 Price in India
The LG Nexus 4 is arguably one of the best Android smartphones available. Not because of an exceptional build quality, or the best specifications (compared to the current crop of 2013 flagships), but because of how Google managed to offer a high-end device at an exceptionally low price. Google recently slashed the price of its 2012 flagship by up to 25%, which, some rumors suggest, is indicative of the imminent arrival of the next Nexus smartphone.
Unfortunately, that price cut hasn’t featured in the Indian market. Most telling is the fact that the device is known as the LG Nexus 4 in India (as opposed to Google Nexus 4) because it was LG that officially launched the smartphone earlier this year, and the fact that the device isn’t available directly from the Indian Google Play Store. Coupled with current exchange rate issues and import duties, the LG Nexus 4 is a lot more expensive in India than in the US, where the device now costs $249 for the 16GB version, or approximately Rs 16,000.
That being said, even at its higher price, the LG Nexus 4 is significantly cheaper than most other high-end smartphones available in the Indian market, and features a price point that you would see with mid-range Android smartphones.
