The Android One family may be getting another addition thanks to a rumored collaboration between T-Mobile and LG.

According to kernel source code unearthed by an XDA-Developers user, LG is working with the U.S. carrier on releasing an exclusive variant of the LG Q7 that runs on unmodified Android software. The mooted device would be LG’s first ever Android One phone.

The code in question actually popped up in the kernal source for the LG Stylo 4 which is expected to launch in the U.S. on T-Mobile MVNO MetroPCS in the coming days. The references to “cv5a” and “sprout” indicate that we’re looking at an LG Q7 model and Android One software, respectively.

XDA-Developers went a step further, however, and unpacked a list of possible specifications based on the source code. Based on the speculation, the LG Q7 Android One could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, come with up to 3GB of RAM, and sport a Full HD+ 5.5-inch display (1,080 x 2,160).

A 3,000mAh battery and Android 8.1 Oreo are also rumored, but until we hear official word it’s worth taking these specs with a large pinch of salt.
