How to watch the March 2022 Nothing event

Publish date: 2023-04-09

TL;DR

When former OnePlus executive Carl Pei announced his new company called Nothing, the assumption was that he would be making smartphones. After all, that’s what OnePlus excelled at while Pei was there. However, so far, all we’ve seen from Nothing is a set of true wireless earbuds.

Today, though, there is a Nothing event. At this event, we expect the company to make new product announcements, which could possibly include a new smartphone. After all, Pei was spotted showing off a smartphone of some kind at Mobile World Congress a few weeks ago, so it wouldn’t be too surprising.

The event starts at 10:00 AM ET, or 2:00 PM GMT in Nothing’s local London time zone. You can watch the livestream in the embedded YouTube video below.

If the Nothing event doesn’t include a new smartphone, it should at least include news about some other hardware products. Leading up to the event, Nothing has said it would announce a roadmap of hardware. It’s possible, then, that the company could simply announce that it has the intention to announce a smartphone in the future. That seems convoluted, but we’ve seen Pei do things like that in the past.

The only way to know for sure will be to watch the Nothing event for yourself. Check it out at 10:00 AM ET!
