Taking a screenshot on the Nexus 4 is quite simple. Simply follow the steps below and you will have your screen captured.

  • Press the Volume Down and Power Button at the Same Time.
  • If you have successfully captured the screenshot the screen will flash, and a polaroid animation is displayed on the device with a shutter sound.
  • The image is saved into the Gallery under the folder Screenshots.
  • At this point you can slide down the notification shade, and view the image. Or you can press on share to share it with any application of your choosing.
