Google Pixel 6 Pro specs leak gives us new info

Publish date: 2022-07-06

TL;DR

We’ve already seen plenty of leaks related to Google’s next slate of flagship phones. Some of those “leaks” were even dropped by Google itself. However, today’s newest leak is interesting in that it allegedly comes from a real physical unit.

Most of the specs are things we’ve already heard from other sources. For example, the Pixel 6 Pro will apparently have a 120Hz display, which is something we’ve heard plenty of times. Keep in mind, though, that the alleged “real” device (which is almost certainly a prototype, not a retail model) having these features makes it more likely that’s what we’ll actually see.

Elsewhere, XDA‘s source posits some other Google Pixel 6 Pro specs:

The source also confirms that, unfortunately, the Pixel 6 Pro does not support Active Edge. We got excited about this rumor earlier today, but it appears not to be.

Google will likely launch the Pixel 6 series in October, not long after its expected launch of Android 12. That’s when we’ll know for certain what the Google Pixel 6 Pro specs will be! Until then, we’ll just need to keep checking on these leaks and keeping our fingers crossed.
