$55 Jelly Bean Android Mini PC RK3066 spotted at CES 2013

Publish date: 2022-09-12

The Mini RC RC3066 is a newer Android computer that works pretty much like the MK802, and the product has been spotted at CES 2013.

The device packs quite a punch under the hood: 1.6GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, microSD support, Wi-Fi b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth , micro USB, full-size USB, female HDMI port, 3.5mm headset jack and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Comparatively, the MK802 features a 1.5GHz Cortex-A8 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, microSD support, Wi-Fi b/g/n, DLNA, micro USB, full-size USB, HDMI and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

In case you’re shopping for such devices that help you port your Android experience on to a new screen, the new Mini PC RK3066 seems to be the better choice. The device retails for $55, not including a $5 shipping fee, while its predecessor costs $45. But even though Engadget did share pricing details for the device, we’re still unsure from where one would order one, so you’ll just have to hang on to your cash for a while longer.

Will you buy an Android computer this year?
